Case Study: Otto Primary School
Since 2013, Performance Fact and our partners have supported Otto Primary School in a variety of ways consistent with our Mission to transform educational experiences and outcomes for Nigerian students, especially the least-well served. In 2019, the school served about 650 pupils in Nursery to Primary 6.

The world that our students will live in is being created moment by moment. We have to provide them opportunities to be curious, creative and self-responsible, and self-disciplined. Our function is to equip them with the confidence and competence to shape their experiences, their lives, and our world. Our education system must give them roots and wings.

Student learning depends on the effectiveness of professional practices. As our practitioners improve their craft through continuous professional learning, they are more capable of facilitating successful learning for every student.

We believe that all students can achieve at high levels, regardless of their background, condition, or circumstance. However, every student must be provided equitable access and opportunity to meet the high academic and behavioral standards we must set for them. We believe that every student needs an advocate – someone to promote what is just and fair for every student, especially the least well-served.
