Performance Fact Nigeria is a non-profit organization focused on improving the educational outcome of students and teachers in Nigeria. We started Performance Fact Nigeria in 2013 with a clear mission: transform educational effectiveness and outcomes for Nigerian students, especially the least well-served … and do so at scale. Using our framework continuous school improvement framework, Eye On The Goal™ we have supported thousands of students and teachers in Lagos State.
For Students
Over the years, our commitment to developing the potential of students to meet their needs in the changing world learning remains at the core of our organization. As we’ve grown, our mission has expanded to ensuring students have a safe and effective learning environment.
For Teachers
Our partnership with the Lagos State’s Education Board enables us to support teachers and other educational leaders with a system of solutions for building stronger schools. These involve strategic planning, school improvement, leadership development assessment and analysis.

Our Team
Mr. Mutiu Fagbayi
Founder/CEO
Mutiu Olutoyin Fagbayi is Founder/CEO of Performance Fact Educational Initiative. He is also the Founder/President & CEO of Performance Fact, Inc., a consulting firm based in Oakland, California that works with schools and school districts throughout the USA to improve academic achievement for all students. The Nigeria-based efforts are extensions of the focus of Performance Fact’s work in the USA, where he currently resides.
Mrs. Tosin Babasanya-Craig
Manager, Nigeria Operations
Mrs. Oluwatosin Babasanya-Craig manages the affairs of Performance Fact in Nigeria, a position she has held since January 2016. She oversees Performance Fact’s capacity-building and technical assistance programs for the Lagos State Universal Basic Educational Board (Lagos SUBEB), including the SUBEB Executive Board; twenty Local Government Education Authorities (LGEA); hundreds of headteachers and teachers, and other partners working to improve educational outcomes and effectiveness for Nigerian pupils.
Mr. Oladipo Aina
Board Member
Mr. Oladipo Aina is Founder, Managing Director & CEO of Signet Investments & Securities Limited, a financial advisory services and stock brokerage firm created in 1988. He is an authorized Dealing Clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers, and is currently a National Council Member of The Nigerian Stock Exchange. He is a Past President and Chairman of the Council of CIS Nigeria.
Mr. Olatunji Adefuye
Senior Associate
Mr. Olatunji Anthonio Adefuye began his public education career as a Secondary School teacher in Lagos State in 1985. He retired in 2015 as Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (Lagos SUBEB), a position to which he was appointed in 2013 by then-Lagos State Governor, Hon. Babatunde Fashola (SAN). In that capacity he coordinated the administrative and management processes of SUBEB. At Performance Fact, he is a facilitator and leadership coach for State-level and LGEA partners.
Mrs. Gbolahan K. Daodu
Board Member
Mrs. Gbolahan K. Daodu joined the Lagos State Civil Service corps in August 1978 and served in various capacities, rising to the position of Permanent Secretary in two separate state-level government Ministries. In 2008, she was appointed as the Chairman of the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (Lagos SUBEB), overseeing statewide primary education for more than one million pupils. She retired from that position in 2015.
Mr. Smart Akiba
Associate
Mr. Smart Akiba is an Associate with responsibility for day-to-day office management, workshop logistics, product development research, document production, and equipment maintenance. Prior to joining Performance Fact in 2019, Smart’s work experiences included: teaching, business/sales development and education software development and training.
